He was a legend of Roots Reggae music. A true icon of black resistance music and a real devotee and spreader of Rastafari faith. This video is a masterpiece. What a bass line! The riffs of the trumpets come in perfect harmony with the bass line. Heavy spiritual music. Rest in power, freedom fighter!

You couldn't have put it in a more beautiful way. I agree with you full time. Rest in Power, Bunny.
@H.C.Q.2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call it "black resistance". That carries a negative vibration. Bunny would have shunned BLM. He used to sing, "Get up you black Yankees. Don't be no follow-fashion monkeys". Rasta has always been a positive vibration. Love is the most powerful force in the universe.

@@H.C.Q. ii would, and do. 'RESISTANCE' IMPLIES COURAGE, WISDOM, AND COMPASSION (the real trinity). Dog deeper into the meanings of words.

I was lucky enough to be at this show - they didn’t include entire sets in the dvd but my recollection is that none of the artists did super long sets - it moved along pretty quickly.

Reggae is the only music that is capable of changing human DNA.....I know this by my own experiment that ever since I got involved in the vibes my life has become happier. However. This music also opens the door for revolution and equality under the umbrella that all us mortals live every day. Therefore the dislike of the elite because it can open the third eye 👁️ More over, the freedom in this physical and slave plane.....

I agree . The full show was ruined by the commercialization of reggae by that date . Island records wanted to feature their diverse artists , but it ended up being an incoherent mishmash of roots and Babylon's phoniness .

Good Morning 😃 to All! Question: Can anyone tell me who makes the musical arrangements? What I really appreciate about Bunny. Peace be with him,was his true love and respect for his wife and family. Bunny and his family will not be forgotten. I’m 67 American , and was with Bob Marley and the Wailers from when they first came to America. Lively up yourself. Some German brothers was playing it at the party.I was about 14/15 I remember the feeling I had then and still have the same feeling in 2022. My American friends thought I was out of my mind. At the time Disco music was in. I love that to. But reggae music is and will always be Spiritual to me. Blessings and more Blessings to all.
