Thank you for watching! Yes! You can explore the island. There is a security gate you have to go through, but you are free to come and go as you please. I would strong suggest to take your passport if you do that though

Were you required to wear masks off the ship at this port? And, are there motorized vehicles to take you from the ship to the port entrance? That is a very long walk for some. Especially going back down that long dock after a long tiring fun day.

Thank you Kathy for watching the video! Yes, they have locals on bicycles pulling passenger carriages to transport ship passengers to and from the ship. If you look at the end of the video, I show those locals zooming back and forth with passengers. As for masks, yes, when we were there in September, the local authorities required everyone to wear a mask unless we were eating, drinking, or swimming. Mask requirements have been changing constantly. There might be a possibility when you visit there, they might not require masks? But that is an unknown.
