The Northern Territory (NT) hosts a diverse range of geology and landscapes across an area of 1.35 million km2 with rocks that range in time from Neoarchean granites through to Cenozoic sediments and unconsolidated regolith (Ahmad & Munson, 2015). A varied climate and the complex geology have shaped diverse landscapes across the NT, providing a beautiful backdrop for culturally respectful outreach, education and geotourism opportunities. This presentation will highlight some of the amazing geology across the NT from the Top End to the Red Centre- including some of the new initiatives undertaken by the NT Division of the Geological Society of Australia.
