I hate myself too Amber. I live with synesthesia, adhd, ocd, dyslexia, and crippling mdd. But when I'm most shameful of my existence, I try to find anything worth my existence. I'm a survivor of many a tragedy, but the point of life is not to compare your trek through others eyes but through your own. Your music has helped me out a lot, and I hope you can realize that music will always be that friend that helps you pull through. I could tell you, you have so many fans that support and care about you but it won't stick unless you can love yourself just a tiny bit. We should always look at our mistakes as lessons to learn from, but our pasts don't have to shape our futures. Being needed and being wanted are 2 different things. If no one has told you this, I want you around Amber for as long as you want to do music I want to hear it. I hope you can see your worth without anyone else telling you what your worth is. Anyways, I hope things get better for you!

2 years ago today I attempted to end my own life. I had hit my lowest point. All I felt was hatred towards myself. I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to care about me let alone like me when I didn’t even like myself. During the time that I was in the hospital afterwards recovering when my mom and sister were finally able to come visit me it hit me that even though I hated myself they love me unconditionally. I don’t hate myself as much as I did back then and I’m trying to learn to love myself but everyday is a battle of its own. I no longer look at myself and think that I’m just a waste of space. Amber you are so amazing. You have the courage and strength to be yourself and show your weak side. You’re incredibly strong and beautiful. Thank you so much for making such meaningful and beautiful music. Thank you for creating music that reminds everyone to hold on while they learn to love themselves and not give up. Thank you for being you. ❤

I know it can seem like a struggle to ask for help (or do anything at all) but it is worth it to find the right mental health professional and/or support group. You're not worthless and you don't deserve to be defined or controlled by someone else's inexcusable actions.
