Wow! Ouch! Have always loved the original artist's version but for an "in the kitchen, no touch-up, under produced, YT video & w/o retakes", this was beyond awesome. The first version was tattooed in my brain but you scorch that memory. The sheer RAWness invoked emotions I thought were forgotten. That is powerful. That is real effortless soul singing. Don't invest in buying to many artist of today (they sound the same and the music is touched-up in the studio so the real artist is hidden or non-existant). PLEASE don't get lost in the crowd. Wow, so we won't even get into the degree of difficulty for this song, since you already mentioned it. Extremely hard song and you can see there were points that even you were challenged. You gave a smashing performance and the one thing I really liked is that when a song is challenging most people will concentrate on the singing and not the feeling or what the song is trying to convey. You clearly understood the song and was able to sell it as you sang. Nice job!! I think my favorite part is at 3:58-4:06, where if anyone has ever heard the song, you know it is coming strong and to be expected. But then you come back and put your own thang' on it and at 4:19 that held out "no" had me jumpin out of my seat!
