Some of their tracks go beyond anything Nightwish ever dreamed of, but most of their work is uninspired, as others will note. Nightwish was (for the first few albums) essentially the Metallica of female led goth/symphonic/power metal, due to Tuomas Holopainen's consistent genius at songwriting. Lots of great and memorable tunes. It's strange that Amberian Dawn can write perhaps the most amazing song ever conceived (River of Tuoni) but have trouble carrying that inspiration across an album.

While I like amberian Dawn a lot, especially with Capri, Nightwish is a lot better! Floor rocks it! But Capri rocks it to! All she lacks is the versatility of floor.
