@@hazelpiffington Honestly, your husband sounds like me. I lost my shit each time. It wasnt that I didnt love baby, it was I doubted myself and my own abilities. Just in case you didnt know, peripartum/perinatal depression and anxiety can effect both mom and dad. (Depression and anxiety during pregnancy, as opposed to postpartum which is after or antepartum which is before) So it could be something like that. *TRIGGER WARNING* If I'm honest it made me suicidal with my second pregnancy, and I started self harming in my first after I'd been pretty good for awhile. Just things to look out for. However I find it unlikely that the average man would admit to themselves they're suffering from perinatal depression or anxiety. I hope it's just the shock though. How are you feeling though mama?!

Also if I were in your shoes I'd feel pretty guilty. Hoping providing a window into something not talked about much may help with some possible understanding that can help ease your heart. And if this is your guys' first well I could not imagine having my first during the chaos that is coronavirus and imagine that makes things much scarier. I hope you're doing okay and are coping well. Aweee congratulations mama! I'm also currently pregnant. I'm 3 month behind you but yeah. I'm gonna be 2 months in 3 days! This kid is already causing me trouble with all this nausea and allergies. Like ugh. Lol but I cant wait. I already heard and saw the heartbeat and it was just heartwarming, I cried. Especially after 2 Miscarriages. That little heartbeat was the best thing I heard. The first heart beat was 116 the second one was 146. I'm actually hoping it's a boy but I dont really care if it's a girl.
