I used to be someone a bit bitter about Valentine's Day. The SAD (Single Awareness Day) type of person. 😂 I still participate of course by giving gifts to those I love since I don't think it should be strictly for just romance, but we all know that's what it is geared towards. I'm kind of in the same boat as you Amber, a hopeless romantic. It's kind of hard to find that, but I think knowing your self worth and celebrating yourself is also something wonderful and difficult to do. The solitude you speak of, I love that. I do solo trips myself, and I love that I can be comfortable with being alone without being lonely. Like you said, the loneliness can creep up now and then and it's not a bad thing. We're human, but I feel that being with someone shouldn't define someone's whole being. Single or not, we should still keep that in mind as well. I'll be going to the gym after work today and treat myself to a good shower and cozy night in with my pup pups. Sounds like a great Valentine's Day to me. ☺

I wanted to get myself cute little heart shaped chocolates for Valentine's but I just couldn't justify it in the end.
