pretty sure this is the original mix. it's labelled that way on my copy, and used to be called that on ron wells' soundcloud (he's since removed it). either way, amazing tune that not enough know about!

How come the pitch is slightly lower in this track than the same track in Blu Mar Ten Studio Set 3? Also seems to be something I have noticed from looking up individual songs from other studio sets...

This is probably the original pitch whereas in the studio sets they will have been sped up or slowed down to mix with the adjacent tunes in the mix
