I'd love to know your thoughts on this style of video. I've made videos similar to this in the past. The idea behind these types of videos is to provide some background noise/distraction rather than a video you sit, watch and engage with.

I absolutely adore these types of videos!! I like makeup roleyplays a lot because they're the closest ones I can find to unintentional asmr like waiting rooms, libraries, class, or even just silent studying videos. The first time I discovered I had ASMR was when we has silent sustained reading time in 6rh grade and the girl next to me just barely breathed the words out to herself so it sounded like unintelligible whispers with mouth sounds. I melted into my book and would just stare at my page as I focused on the sound of her reading and trying to keep my eyes open!

That sounds lovely! When I’m in those types of situations I tend to spend more time concentrating on the sounds around me and not on what I should have been doing.

this is amazing. I worked in a docs office and that's when I realized i had asmr. I love how you are so natural. This video is exactly what I needed right now; the upcoming weekend weather forecast for my area has me exceptionally stressed out because of how hot it's going to be and I was freaking out about that (particularly since I can't turn on my air conditioner due to it not having been serviced yet), but now I'm starting to feel calm and collected. Here is where most ASMR role-play videos fail: weird camera angles. One thing I appreciate about your videos (and as far as I know, no other ASMRtist does it like you) is that you can clearly see you. I do not care to see a blurry close up of a back of a magazine while an anonymous pair of hands flips through it. Being able to see your face makes it clear that you stay engaged in the material you are interacting with. Perfect ASMR for me at least. Seeing people concentrate is my trigger and your videos do that better than ANYTHING else in the world.

This was really relaxing. In a moment of huge anxiety, it calmed me - i put it on with headphones & felt able to deal with some tricky stuff at the same time! Maybe one thing - opening & using a tin of lip balm every 2 or 3 mins?! SERIOUSLY!!! I was just waiting for that 😂😂😂🤗🤗
