I remember the multiple times that my mother dropped me off there with my brother when we were much younger. It's been many years. This memory had been completely locked away in the back of my head. In a way, that's what's scary about memories: You can have lots of them, about all sorts of nice events, but they're so easily forgotten.

The darkness is ever consuming. The life you have now feels empty. It feels as though it's repeating, even though you know it's not. It feels as though the system is breaking, like it's glitching. Who are you really, other than a dead body that still moves and acts like it's alive? Who are you other than a zombie, a husk, trying to blend in to a human society? To try and bring back the past, to bring back your former self again? Why? You can't bring back something that's long gone, and gone forever. You crave the essence of being alive once again. To feel emotions. But you can't. You will never be who you once were ever again. Does that really matter though? Does it matter that you can't be who you were? Be yourself as you are now, because one day the spark inside you, that was once the sun that lit up your very life, will come back. Maybe it'll be different, maybe it won't be the same at all. But you wouldn't be dead anymore. You wouldn't just be some husk or zombie. You would be whole, a human. Full of emotions, thoughts, and a personality. You can feel again. What a dream. Something about Life, by yours truly.
