Awesome! I like a minimal setup too. Usually when I play at home I just run straight into my amp, but this makes me wanna dig out my DL4. Inspiring as always thanks for posting!

@kantefier it does! it's one of the things i love about the DL4. as @AlwaysRendering said, you have control over a simple digital delay and some modulation within looper mode.
@AndyOthling14 жыл бұрын
@ReyJB yeah, you can turn the delay off if you want. there is a knob to control the level of the delay, you can just turn it all the way down. i did it a little ways into the video.

dammn :O i just wrote minimal guitar, was searching for some minimal beats. then i saw you and clicked on the vid. i heard the first note and i deeply felt every single tone. what you are doing man is something rare. its not something every artist does. you are writing feeling with music here. this feelings can be readed only buy ppl that feel like you. im loving this video and subscribed. Cheers mate. never stop what you love to do.
@AndyOthling14 жыл бұрын
@hypershadow647 i place the mic straight on a few inches away from the center of the cone, right up against the grill cloth. i never get much room noise that way. the beta 57 is designed to pick up more room sound though, the standard 57 is uni-directional only picks up what is directly in front of it.

yeah man, i worked it back, if you put the looper function on half time you get way more recording time on the loops, which is what this song uses, probably 28 seconds as its double 14

@dantemmm it is not multitrack. you have one track that you can start and stop. and i believe that the max time is 14 seconds, but you can double it if you start in octave down mode.

The DL4 is an excellent choise when you decide to use only 1 effect.. With the reverb in the amp, you've got all you need in one awesome green box. Is this still your first DL4 (considering the rumours they often break down)

hey Andrew, can you help me with a situation i have? i'm thinking about buying a delay. I want to buy a delay that can loop and the Line 6 DL4 does it for me along with the built-in echo. but i've heard a lot of things about the Line 6 DL4 that are bad. Should buy a Line 6 DL4?
