I love that this thing has no midi in or out. It knows what it is. I felt the same kind of good vibes from the back-of-manual patch template for the Dreadbox synths - there's something charming about having to notate your "presets" with pen and paper.

I love it when the whales swim by to see what Roger Waters is doing at 04:48. Then they call their friends and have a chat about it. "I didn't know the Lyra-8 could do "On the Run"" says one of them. Then at 06:38 a Mongolian throat singer with a horse's head fiddle arrives to do some whalesong on his fiddle. The whales love it. "Tom Baker was the best Doctor Who" says the Mongolian. The whales agree, enthusiastically. That was a wonderful trip, thank you so much seianj!

@@seianj Hab die Lyra8 seit gestern bei mir im wohnzimmer angeschlossen um von den anderen Geräte nicht abgelenkt zu sein und so langsam verstehe ich wie die Bestie funktioniert. es ist sicher etwas einzigartiges und vom Soundspektrum sehr dominant. ich wünschte man könnte die Amp Envelopes etwas besser steuern und schade kann man es nicht mit Midi verbinden um die Töne Linear steuern zu können, aber ansonsten finde ich es bisher recht spannend. Darf ich fragen wo du es verkauft hast? Lg
