Lovely explanation to a beautiful piece of kit! I've had my eye on one for a while now but since I got Norns that completely killed my GAS I do think I will check one of these out though!

fortunately it isn't too expensive and doesn't break the bank like some other superb gear :D

Thank you for this video. I had a question, since i am quite new to this. I really loved the acoustic guitar jam. You say in the video that you have plugged your acoustic to the wingie2. & the resultant midi output is fed into the arpeggiator, is that right? So basically we are hearing an arpegiatted version of Wingie2 there. Making sure im understanding this right. Thanks!
@tworoundrobins2 ай бұрын
Hey sorry for a rather late reply, but yes I am using organelle just to send MIDI into wingie and thus arpeggiating the resonance:) hope this helps, otherwise i can give you details over discord:)

Cool Dude, Just one question but there is no dry wet mixer signal right? Thank you. Nice video ;)

There is a wet/dry control from the fader further to the left :)

@@tworoundrobins beautiful! I've wanted to use here there with acoustic guitar & this was great inspiration. did you use a field recorder mic to feed the guitar into the norns?

Sounds lovely. Unfortunately, your demonstration is vague and I still don’t quite understand what this is. Is it a sound processor? What/how does it sequence? Additionally, the video is just blurry enough that I can’t make out, what the markings on this thing are. Cave, glue…???
@tworoundrobins9 ай бұрын
Thank you for checking out the videos and I do apologize if some things came out way too vague. Wingie 2 is a stereo resonator that responds to sound from either the microphones or the inputs - therefore one could say it processes this sound by increasing the resonance of the frequency based on the note you chose by pressing the keys on the keyboard. At two modes (yellow and red / strings and bar) Wingie acts monophonic however if the incoming signal exceeds the set threshold it “sequences” more notes and becomes sort of an arpeggiator - you can set this by holding more than one note on said modes. As for the blurriness, I agree. Sadly I have an older camera that has problem with focusing and hopefully I’ll be able to upgrade sometime in the future! The markings were however explained at least when it cones to fader control (mix/decay/volume) and modes. Cave is a weird one to explain but in essence it’s just the name of the fourth mode and it processes the signal in a bit different way than other modes which incorporate the keyboard in a more “standard” scale. Glue is just me being silly with naming scenarios - it just means that I’m using Wingie to glue Peterlin to a more standardized scale. Anyway hope this explains a bit and will take your comment as intended - to improve this format of my videos :) cheers

@@tworoundrobinsI thought it was a comprehensive deep dive. If ever I can’t see what buttons are in a video, I usually look up an image on Google. That wasn’t really a problem here though.
