Warriors don't think like that. They draw on the strength of their ancestors to give them courage for life in the future as time moves forward.

I just saw this. My name is Maria and I am from Ireland before I came to America. I am a Veteran Medic, served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force worked with Army and Marines mostly and alot of Native Americans. It is a pleasure for me to see how ye celebrate the Veterans who have served in the military of "yere" country.. It didnt matter where we all came from, I can only speak for what I know.............It is all about the person next to you. Maria Hurley, former Staff Sergeant ,Medic, United States Air Force

Mrs.OR Miss Maria Hurley(Staff Sergeant Maria Hurley), wado for your BRAVE, HONORABLE SERVICE AND for your CARING MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR OUR MILITARY. The Lord God Almighty HIMSELF KNOWS how whatever you saw during your CHOICE of Military Service truly touched your heart. My ancestors, The First Nations, The Original Peoples a.k.a. “Native American Indians”, are ALSO created in The Lord’s image just as the rest of the world, wado for seeing us as human beings too. wado, listening eyes.

God bless our Native Warriors! Keeping our cultural alive. I've not seen more patriotism anywhere, than I've seen in the Native community

Most of the people sitting in the stands when asked to stand in RESPECT for these TRUE WARRIORS, remained SITTING IN COMPLETE DISRESPECT.
@ambienttechno3 жыл бұрын
i was thinking the same when I shot this video. I mean, if you can stand, one should respect our elders. I say that and I'm not even a young person any longer.
@jameshart6784 жыл бұрын
3:01 He said US & Canada. Where's the Canadian flag...???!
@ambienttechno4 жыл бұрын
Hey James, I've been to a lot of Grand Entries at Black Hills Pow Wow and they always have a Canadian flag! But you're right. There isn't one in this Grand Entry. I wonder what happened there. If you go to this GE, kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYiyYnWCl9qGp80 you will see the Canadian Flag clearly at: 8:45. of the linked video, don't click on it in this video though...

What’s the flag being drug on the ground?
@redxiii31594 жыл бұрын
The flag was the personal headquarters flag for General George Custer (1839-1876)
@janicewalker4774 жыл бұрын
Hi_LifeHero You know, the man whose men were butchered. Heinous acts committed by both sides of this dark period in our history. The flag drag is such a sign of disrespect, can’t imagine it being okay to drag a headdress on the ground.
@redxiii31594 жыл бұрын
@@janicewalker477 this evil person "custer" went into 1st nations villages and murdered woman children and elders his flag deserves the disrespect idc what anyone says

@tomtolbert32 fun fact, there is information that descendants of Custer are Native. He had an out-of wedlock child with Cheyenne woman.
