I really love your mixes. Not only is this my favorite style of techno but it also takes me back to a time and a place when my favorite restaurant (Yauatcha) was open in the city I live . They played music like this all the time. It was the perfect pairing for eating dim sum and drinking artisan cocktails and champagne.

Dub techno and ambient techno are two sub-genres of techno music that share some similarities but also have significant differences. Dub techno typically features a prominent bassline, deep echo and reverb effects, and a slower, more deliberate rhythm. On the other hand, ambient techno tends to be more atmospheric and ethereal, often featuring long, sustained chords and textures, and a more subdued rhythm. While both genres can incorporate elements of dub (such as delay and reverb effects), the emphasis in ambient techno is on creating an immersive, otherworldly atmosphere, whereas dub techno is more focused on creating a groove and a sense of physicality. In the end, the distinction between the two genres can be somewhat subjective and there can be some overlap between them. However, generally speaking, dub techno is more dancefloor-oriented while ambient techno is more introspective and suited for headphone listening.
