You know, I added this fragrance to my cart a couple weeks prior to Christmas, but I had several USPS shipments that were pending for weeks (literally) so I decided to forego ordering this one. It sounds really nice, but I already have Ambre Narguille, Oajan, Dolcelisir and Red Tobacco in the Scent Armory, so this one just seems to be unneeded at this point. To be honest, my gal wears Ambre Narguille and Dolcelisir because they seem to be better suited for the the femmes, while I rock Oajan and Red Tobacco since they are much more powerful and masculine to my nose. Enjoyed the review. Hey, you're on the other side of DFW aren't you (Arlington or Irving)? I hope you're able to earn a living because the night-life has been pretty much shit for the past 8-months. We're in Rockwall and though about asking you play at the house, but people our age are so afraid of COVID they won't dare come to our parties. Go figure! Anyway, we're wanting to host some parties and have live music--one we move past COVID nonsense, of course--since there are no bars or music venues here in Rockwall County--we were told, "Dallas is for sinning" - LOL--but finding a band is a pain-in-the-ass. Boucheron has a pour homme , in edp and edt that surprised me. I got both , testers , free with a purchase of a Tom Ford from Dillards. Their mature scents , but I really was surprised . Didn't care for Jaipur . It's been sometime since then. So who knows now. I have Red Tobacco and Oajan . I got the huge bottle of Red Tobacco for like $80 . It's potent . OMG is it potent. I like cherry . I have Herod etc , but still my favorite for a tobacco is Back to Black. I wear it on my chest, and I can smell it for hours on end . Amazing on my shirts the next day. I love Ambre Nargulie Ya now how you say hermit . Well for a long time that's how I used to start the beginning of Hermes . I'm from central NY . Lived with this girl from Maine. I was always corrected on my pronunciations . You don't step on your aunt , you step on an ant. Never ended . Fuck. Drove me crazy at times. Anyways, cool hat . No more Indians . Yup. Saw Marc's vid, factored in some other stuff, namely that I saw Marc's vid, and immediately ordered it. 😂 It's a goodie, that's for sure. Couldn't agree more. I do have Oajan and don't think it's redundant either. The PdM is more of a one trick pony that I like to layer with quite a bit, but I think this one has more going on. Definitely not as shy on the trigger. Might go well with a dry, smoky leather, but I'm still getting my head around it as it is. Probably my favourite pick up of the year.

Silly and arrogant comment about pronunciation. Cultural competence and sensitivity is a thing for a reason.

His pronunciation of French ain't great--I could do without hearing him butcher each fragrance's name up to a few dozen times in one clip--but I at least half like the fact that he kind of apologises, even if it's almost in a "sorry not sorry" way. I watch a lot of frag clips, and so many are from the States, and I can only think of about one American in them who pronounces French anywhere near correctly. That's a pretty bad indictment, but then again, this guy, for example, is in a state where probably even the cattle have assault rifles. I don't expect too much. I live in Britain, and even here there are plenty of people who are awful at French and every other foreign language.
