I style and care for my natural hair as well and I must say your method is GENIUS! Not only is it heatless but your moisturizing properly (leave-in, oil, styling product in that order). i now don't have to worry about getting certain curl pattern weaves b/c of my 4c hair. Your method makes it work flawlessly...those dislikes must come from ppl letting their kids play on their fones lol. Please continue to share ur ways sista

I appreciate your posts...so intelligently done, no smacking your lips, or rambling on.....everything spot on. You're such a beautiful young woman....I learned soooo much from this video and sending it to my weave guy. I just got my leave out done and although he did a great job, I really like this method of blending. I tried it and mine looks fantastic.....God bless....

Just a word of warning! DO NOT PULL TOO TIGHT WHEN DOING THIS METHOD. I did this consecutively for 3 months and now my edges are thin 🙁. Im not blaming ambre. This was a result of my own error. Just thought I should stress this to others!
@BlackGirlWithSocialAnxiety8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the tip🙌🏾
@nahiemaa8 жыл бұрын
try twist outs, much less stress on the hair. do the same process with the rods, using some of the hair from the weave with yours, so it can blend nicely. wet your edges a little, use Jamaican black cast oil and coconut oil and loosely tie a scarf. both oils will lay your edges down nicely and will help them grow!
@teamarshae26016 жыл бұрын
Twist outs and bantu knots is what i do or sometimes i just slick down my edges and do minimal leave out

I stumbled across this video a few days ago. I was skeptical about trying this method because I have 4c hair & wasn't sure how well it would blend but I love the results! Thank you for sharing.
@Heyitsnya8 жыл бұрын
I have 4c hair too! Did you use a blow dryer before you did this method or anything?
@nea4158 жыл бұрын
No, I didn't use any heat. I put end papers on my perm rods first, apply some type of oil & or hair gel to my hair & start wrapping each little section with the perm rods. One thing I started doing differently than this method is instead of wrapping my hair and the extensions in the perm rods, I only wrap my natural hair with them. After I take my perm rods out I have a really tight curl & I twist each section of my hair around the extensions. It blends in so good! I hope that all made sense. Lol

Hey, do you still use this method? I realize I'm 2 years late commenting lol. I have really thick, kinky 4C hair and I'm wondering if your hair got poofy with this method? Also, how long did the blending last before you had to re-style or wash it?

Gorgeous doll this is the video I needed to see at 3 am lol. I just ordered me some kinky curly hair for the first time and I was freaking out on how I was going to blend my straight leave out without damaging it any further from curling irons .I went natural 4 years ago after a big chop but continued to damage my leave out with textures and heat so I have been chopping away at it and I am trying to grow it back and get it healthy like the rest of my hair your method is amazing and flawless and smart to mix it with the extentions thanks love

Question... When using this method, are you re-doing the perm rods for your edges everyday? Or do you have a method of maintaining the curled leave out for several days? An answer would be greatly appreciated as your video was very helpful :)

Sorry, I meant re-doing the perm rods for your LEAVE OUT, not edges... Lol. My bad.

This is brilliant! Did you come up with this? I'm going to call you The Blend Master from now on! Awesome! Thanx Ambre :)

You know what that's pretty freaking smart! "go head girl" lol I'm a guy and I'm working with my hair growing it out naturally, but I do miss my length and I'm also trying to keep my hair in protective style's while still having a hairstyle because I do not like wearing braids! Lol and though I love wearing my beanies I really want to wear a hairstyle, so trying to blend my heat damage hair is a pain. I'm super particular when it comes to my hair and I never thought about doing this lol. Now i can get my hair as close yo my hairline without it looking unnatural. Thank youuuuu!!! hahahaaa😁

This is a great method, but I was a bit concerned whether or not you should leave the hair mask in as a leave-in? Not sure, but are you supposed to rinse out the hair mask or is that particular one a leave-in mask?
