I read Bierce between HS & first year of college. Incident at Owl Creek Bridge was my introduction to his brilliance as I headed into my Liberal Arts major at UC Santa Barbara fall of 1966.

The story line is very good.... the acting is very bad! I attended a High School musical last evening with far better acting by Junior and Senior High students!
