Is it correct to take oil level readings when the AMBO is tilted up on jacks?

The tilt would be minimal along with the rear suspension being set on high level really brings her to near level. Plus most GM blocks have the dip stick entering close to center, thus having forward to rear tilt not giving much of a difference on mild grades. But good observation.
