That's Cheeks the Toy Wonder! Ambush Bug was more than a bit player. He had two mini-series and a couple of specials. Unfortunately he was a comedic, surreal character when comics went grim n' gritty!

Along with "Giant Size Kung Fu Bible Stories", the "Ambush Bug Nothing Special" is my all time favorite title for a comic. I'm another one of those deep cut character fans, and really look forward to getting my Ambush Bug in the mail in the next few weeks. R.I.P. Keith Giffen.
