I'm going to post this on both videos. The disadvantage on the maezels from the previous video was from them being in a dark area, there are no extra hidden variables. The reason why your attacks against one of the wraiths here didn't get "too dark" was because he was standing close to a Shadowroot Sac, they create an aura of environmental light as long as they're not harvested. Environmental light isn't affected the wraith's light extinguishing aura because, unlike candles and torches and such, there is no "off mode" for the environment. That's also why throwing the alchemist's fire got rid of the "too dark" on the wraith on the roof, fire surfaces create environmental light. To clear up the confusion on when you do or don't get a sneak attack: There are 2 conditions: 1) you MUST NOT have disadvantage against the target 2) you MUST have either advantage against your target or the target must be threatened by an ally (green circle, not yellow neutral circle). Having a single source of disadvantage will block you from having advantage, no matter how many sources of advantage you have. The reason you had advantage against that last wraith was because you had thrown the alchemist's fire which caused environmental light which got rid of the "too dark" status.

Great video, as always. If I may make a suggestion, you should reconsider avoiding the shadow mastif fight (you encountered the area in your previous video. It is adjacent to the meazzle fight, the location with the torches of continual light and the dead absolutist). You encountered a shadow mastif in the final (only) fight you had in this video and you dispatched it quite easily. Victory in this encounter will yeild an item that will synergize quite well with your current playstyle. Cheers

Without too much spoiler, you don't have a choice to go back to the drider. Otherwise, you can't go to darker area and finish act 2. If you had participated in the dialogue, you could have deceived him into giving you his lantern....

Hello, there is at least 1 more way around it that I can think of. Not saying anything about it because of major spoilers 😌. Beinrg only 2 rogues, with all harpers from Last Light Inn dead and the Drider being hostile already....I don´t think they would survive the fight, unless really good strategy, all possible buffs and lots of luck 😉

The interaction with Oliver didn't feel right to me. Findan's kill everything that moves nature is influencing Linus. 😅 I feel like Linus could've taken the more sympathetic option, especially after perceiving the sad nature of Oliver.

I don’t know - we are two halflings in shadow cursed lands with no allies. The Last Light Inn just went down as well. I don’t think we are very inclined to play with possessed children. Linus is an urchin though, so there was some scope for being kinder, but I guess not this time…
