Although this episode was so dark and chilling the writing, story telling and acting were impeccable. This is the days when soaps told stories and you were captivated by the lives of these people who felt like family because you saw them every day.

Scenes like this is why Alicia Minshew nailed Kendall a whole better than SMG who also did a great job but Minshew elevated AMC to where she became the main heart of the show until its conclusion.

What kind of monster rapes a woman? Even the most medieval and unsanitary torture chamber wouldn't have been enough for Michael Cambias and his kind. It was an excellent touch by Agnes to include a letter from Lena to Bianca. 'Goodnight, my angel. Rest well and know that you are loved.'
