We all have our reasons for going all in on this. I've been in on AMC since February. If the stock goes to $225 I will have enough money to make my next feature film without having to rely on getting an investor in the project (which is the hardest part of filmmaking). It's ironic, and maybe even a sign, that all this is happening because of a theater company stock. Hopefully I will get to screen the film at AMC cinemas and bring everything full circle.

Here's some basic math: 100% of the legal float is held by mutual funds. ~140% of the legal float is held by institutional investors like hedge funds and pension funds. ~300-500% of the legal float is held by retail investors. everything except the mutual funds must be purchased to satisfy the shorts. There's math saying that millions may be low.

I think realistically what needs to happen is every single retail investor needs to come up with their Target cell price in their mind. The sale price that works for them. If this has a chance to make 100 K I’m fine selling anywhere between 50 and 100 between all my shares it’s still life-changing without being greedy scraping the plate. Last thing you would want is the home for so long see the price go up wait too long and watch the price cool back down

Totally great with you BUT I think this still has a min 300-400% upside before things start to slow ( currently $43 ) as there is just massive volume at the moment and there is still 110m short shorts to cover ( last week the buy back of 30m shares pushed the price up 95% ). Added to all the recent news on CNBC about Naked Shorting , the brokerages Tightening up on their shorting rules , huge option buys at $145 for 18th June I think things are going to explode this week .
