This was way too emotional. Gillian should've never been killed off, nor should Esta's talents have been wasted in that farcical ghost Gillian follow up plot

True. There should have been another way to save Laura. They kill her off to save Laura and Laura didn’t even stick around long afterwards before leaving town again and she never returned. Gillian should have remained to be a constant thorn in Greenlee’s side! Maybe Kendall’s too! She could have been a part of fusion and Greenlee and Gillian could have been another Erica and Brooke!

My understanding was Esta wanted to pursue other interests and it was her decision to leave when her contract was up, and so I guess they had to do something, but yeah, I hated having Gillian killed off.

@@robparsons213 I get wanting to broaden her horizons but surely there was a better way to write her off than killing her. It just seemed out of left field. BTW, what happened to Munecojim? His videos just disappeared.

@@cajayson8301, I wondered the same thing about Munecojim. I was watching one of the videos in his channel and I'd decided to watch at least one more when it was done--there were definitely consecutive subsequent videos when I started watching that session. But when it finished, there was a message saying the next video was gone with a message saying it was because the account had been terminated or suspended (I can't recall the exact word used). I guess we will never know, but I sure miss them. I don't hate these channels from AMCThroughTheYears or RobertAnnaFan, but they focus very much on their particular set of characters so you miss out on a lot of the other stuff that happened at the same time. Today I saw an episode with Adam & David talking about JR and some missing drugs from David's bag, and it made me realize how long since I'd seen an episode with Adam in it and how much stuff I was obviously missing out on.

I think Esta wanted to leave the show. I didn't like Gillian's character being killed off but I'm not sure how well a recast would've worked. Had Gillian not died I could see her being mini Erica 😂.
