AMD Demonstration of Kria Robotics Perception

Jasvinder Khurana, Staff System Design Engineer at AMD, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2022 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Khurana demonstrates the Kria Robotics Perception stack application.
The demonstrated ROS 2 Perception Node-accelerated application implements a subset of image_pipeline, which is one of the most popular packages in the ROS 2 ecosystem and a core piece of the ROS perception stack. It creates a simple computational graph consisting of two hardware accelerated nodes, resize and rectify, and leverages the Kria Robotics Stack framework for tracing and benchmarking.
