Hugging Face and AMD have been collaborating to bring benefits of diverse AMD hardware platforms from GPU, CPU to Adaptive SoCs to Hugging Face users and developer communities. Dear AMD, please consider one way to take over the market - work with Microsoft to make XBOX not a console but a hardware profile. Say, xbox could be 8Core zen5, 40cu RDNA4 chiplets, 32GB Ram, 1TB nvme drive. That way say Asus ROG xbox handheld could be possible. From you, auto OC/UV would be needed for hardware and power profiles. If that vision realizes - based on you portfolio - you are uniquely positioned to take this new market. Hardware producers and community could create detail level profiles for games so that user never needs to tweak it. User could select just a profile - prioritize fps, resolution, details, rt, ... So every AMD hardware could be an xbox, but if someone wants, PC experience of tweaking and using windows as windows would still be possible.

Its amazing how no one even care about OpenGL which is plain broken on Radeon cards since 2022. The last driver with acceptably operating OpenGL is 22.5.1 and after that - crashes, missing textures, green artefacting, etc, etc. And RDNA3 users can't even use this old driver.

It's been quite some time, and I strongly believe that the RX 5000 series graphics cards have been largely forgotten, neglected, and overlooked. The reason is quite obvious: "no" new features are being introduced, unfortunately. Neither AFMF nor HYPER RX, and many other features, have been added. This is a very sad situation because I always thought that AMD valued their older graphics cards as well. However, it seems that's not the case. When new cards are released, the older ones are quickly forgotten and disregarded, unfortunately. And sadly, this is indeed a reality, no matter how much one might think otherwise. The fact that the RX 6000 series gains the AFMF feature while it's absent in the RX 5000 series is truly ironic and quite laughable. It's also very disheartening because the RX 6000 series could easily share this feature with the RX 5000 series since these two graphics card series have almost identical features. So, I don't see anything particularly special about the RX 6000 series in this regard. Therefore, I find it nonsensical, absurd, and unfair to discriminate in this manner. Please, consider showing more regard for your older graphics card users. After all, they also belong to your customer base and they have needs for innovations too, which I believe you should address. It's crucial for gaining more customers and gamers. Thus, my request to you is to please introduce new features to the RX 5000 series like AFMF and HYPER RX, among others. These features are genuinely needed for this graphics card series because there are still many users worldwide who rely on the RX 5000 series cards. By catering to their needs, you would demonstrate just how much you value your older graphics cards and how much care and attention you give to your customers and gamers. We would truly appreciate it and be very pleased if you could fulfill these requests. Additionally, I believe it would be beneficial to escalate this matter to your higher authorities for their awareness. Best regards.

MiOpen got support on windows around a month ago with ROCm 6.1. This was the largest blocker for it, but there might still be other libraries that aren't available yet.

try extending the opengpu applications to generic shader gpu video encoding on all gpu platforms. yep amdcodec but generic that works also for OBS. 4K at full quality encoding, so that you dont have to resort to uncompressed video to get full quality without slowing down. yep gpu encoding instead of slow dedicated chip encoding (sometimes).

when using AMD HW h.264 (AVC) on amd gpu, thats doing nothing else, just encoding, on OBS, then audio crackles when pressing "start recording", indicating that the cpu with integrated gpu will become blocked preventing proper audio flow. this happens with xbox series AVC too. causes crackles during the recording when the cpu is overloaded and blocked.

also you might want to investigate possible system instability while using autodesk fusion. otherwise the system is stable, but bluescreens and reboots. while dragging/rotating objects.@@AMD
