Nvidia should be fined by the government because this was the very thing they were trying to avoid with the sanctions they placed on them but Nvidia skirted around the santions with their "D" versions of the their 90 series (which some already modded to work around the limitations). If china devs were only using the -80 or -70 series USA probably would have remained in the top spot for longer.

The first half is him going over the product stack for each resolution and how the 7800xt is their most sold card while the 7900xt is also pretty good value alongside 7900xtx. In my country Nvidia is quite over msrp while AMD remains closer. We also don't have scalpers so it's just what retailers sell. In the second part of the video he is baffled how AMD wants to stop the 7000 from production when it offers an amazing price/performance compared to the new cards. AMD wanted to sell the 9070xt card over 2000bgn (1000euro) conversation being 2:1. This is while the 7900xtx costs 1000 euro. Also wanted to sell the 9070 for 1800lv (900euro) which is 150 (75euro) more than a 7900xt. At the end he is mad they are sitting on boxes of 9070s they can't sell. And also what a big mistake it is and how they are scrambling to fix it. It's a straight up rant/throwing shade at AMD. Here are prices for all cards here: 7900xtx 1000 euro, 7900xt 750-800 euro, 7800xt 620 euro, Nvidia 4090 2250 euro, 4080 1250 euro, 4070ti/supers hover around 900+-.

Temperature and noise is important to me and most AIB GPUs give relatively close FPS in almost all games so the deciding factor for me are temps, price and noise levels in that order. So I really appreciate their reviews and how they present the results. I save time reading theirs cos I just need to go to the very latest card reviewed, look at the charts, pick my preferred GPU, and then go read that particular card's review. Saves tons of time.

Maybe rather than paying $2,500 for an Nvidia RTX 5090, you might be wise to purchase 20 shares of NVDA (which you would later sell to get the next gen for "free").

I have a feeling that NV's stock is gonna keep dropping for a while lmaoo.

@zxq_5. I'm on the fence because I think it's way overpriced, but I also don't think anything changed fundamentally. I'd guess it will pick back up with the rest of the market until they have actual competition in terms of market share in AI. There's some great hardware out there but when everyone is taught on NVIDIA and they pay engineers to do actual good software to go with, they're tough competition.
@Fishy-i2g7 күн бұрын
@zxq_5 Probably not, Nvidia is protected. Otherwise its price would never have been so high in the first place. 100% of ALL Stock Prices are fraudulent in US market due to how it is operated with a secondary market that is used to control stock valuation. Even if it does drop, that just means insider investors can get in at a nice low price before Nvidia puts out a new announcement which will then be used to push the price higher.

deepseek being cheaper, more efficient, and running on older hardware really just sends home the message that with proper optimization, amazing results can absolutely be maximized on limited resource hardware (side-eye to game developers)

I just checked the loss value of what Nvidia had shaved off. It looks like it lost the value of AMD and Intel combined. Twice. That was not their value, that was just their losses. That would be like an entire country going bankrupt overnight. It looks like they have bounced back a bit today, but that's quite a chunk to be shaved off.

a few years ago intel sent AMD a middle finger by laying off a single department, that happened to be exactly as many employees as all of AMD has

If the 9070xt isn't under $400 it is DOA

Lmao, expecting 9070 XT to cost less than $500 is naive, but actually expecting it to be sub $400 is absolutely braindead behaviour. Please seek professional help.

I read somewhere the people who made DeepSeek didn't use the higher level languages that use CUDA. They wrote their stuff in the Assembly Language that sits between the machine code and CUDA. Pretty cool if they did that.

at this point amd should just make an 9080 and 9090 (xt) if they are that scared of NVIDIA, make them good and at a reasonable price
