It depends on CPU, GPU and bottleneck. If it is GPU, dual channel with same ram amount you wouldn't notice the difference and also depends on game. Remember, priority in 1) RAM size 2) RAM speed 3) dual channel vs single channel

If you are still considering, I would suggest you get b550m ds3h instead. Features exactly the same specs, but cheaper $15. The only other difference is a smaller heatsink, and maybe 6-9C higher the running temperature. Still within the safe limit, and if you're going to overclock, they'll probably top at the same temperature anyway.

yes, fans generally come with their own mounting screws :) Just don't buy these fans. They are Molex powered. Buy PWM fans so you can set a fan curve in the BIOS to control the speed of the fans based on Temp. of the system.

Good assembly, but it would have been better for you in a Corsair spec delta rgb case, because you are going to need space to put a liquid cooling system with a push-pull system since that processor gets very hot, I have an assembly with the same processor and tube that put liquid cooling, try the game need for speed heat and you will see the temperature as it rises, I hope you enjoy it a lot without worries.

You can also can connect to mobo "CHASIS FAN" which is also 12v There's more complication for latest 120mm fan with RGB led sync. It's depend on type of fan, connector and your mobo. For sure the fan will turn on spinning but for LED sync, need to read mobo manual and fan manual

could you activate XMP to overclock RAM to 3200? I have the same setup as you but if i activate XMP the PC won't boot. The system only boots in default memory settings with frecuency of 2400! i updated bios and changed voltage values manually but i can't get it to work. Memtest shows no errors in RAM modules. You MUST update to have the latest improvements, but if you get some unstability you can downgrade to previous version. If you corrupt your BIOS, you also have the flash dedicated button (depending on your motherboard)

Aorus board has high volt output faults .. My edc is running at 100, and causing heat to processor over 95 at stress test auto clocks. When i stable clocks at 4.1 or 4.2 with -0.072 undervolt itcstab ilize temps below 90 but still edc is 100 . Changing board to msi mortar.

If your motherboard box comes with a silver color AMD Ryzen 2000 series Ready sticker, most likely you will need to update BIOS before you can use a AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor. If your motherboard box comes with a orange color AMD Ryzen 3000 series Ready sticker, it comes with new BIOS , most likely it will support a AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor out of the box

mine is updated BIOS with AMD Ryzen 3000 series orange sticker on the motherboard box AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is a processor without build in graphics so the motherboard HDMI / DVI / VGA will not give display output. You will need a graphics card like the GTX 1650 to give display and boot up properly.

I installed it today, so I booted up normally. I'm curious, so I'll ask you a question. When I plug in the power cord, it's blue toward the room on the left.go Is it turning off? If you press the computer power button, the heat sink will turn orange. When I connected the outlet, the blue light went on and off towards the heat sink, so I was surprised.^^

The R5 3600 is a great CPU but it will get up beyond 90c when it reached 100% with the stock cooler. The Cooler Master 212 or others would drop it to 70c at 100%. And oh yes 2 sticks of ram please. Replace the 650w PS with a 550w PS would pay for the cooler and the memory.

How much headroom is between the I/O area and that fan? With my current MB, I don't have much headroom between the top of that I/O area and my case fan. This Gigabyte MB seems to be taller. I noticed you had to remove the fan to install the MB and it looks like it fit. Not sure if my case will allow that to happen.
