I just got my Ryzen 9 5950 today from B&H. Upgrading a 8 year-old PC. For the CPU going from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 9 5950 GPU going from a 1060 8gb to a MSI AMD RX 7600 8gb

Thank you for the message. I found out through my experience with routers that Asus personal routers provide the best features. So if I am to recommend a router, it would be any recent Asus router with Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6e. I personally use the RT-AX3000 and I find it excellent. That was an interesting comparison. Certainly, for cost-effectiveness, re-utilizing the AM4 board with DDR4 RAM will save some money. At least you won't need to buy a new MB and memory. The additional cores in the 5900x are quite an upgrade from the 5800x. Are you still using the Thermalright PS 120 as your cooler?
