This is the year AMD is going to be producing some big numbers vs intel and others. They have a good product but the market manipulators are scaring off retail and even analysts. Overall vs any other stock, this one is going to grow after we get through the panic. Great analysis.

They are yet to release their new cpus which they have to get right. The company is making money overall, investors are selling because they thought that AMD could compete with Nvidia. That is not happening. Investors are always looking for an easy short term quick profit but they are now unfortunately disappointed. Small bump in the road, AMD will be up in the next 2/3 years. You don’t have the assets to make short term insider informed decisions so think market-wise instead of just jumping on the bandwagon.

Also in terms of china, don’t forget that although Trump’s tariff will have negative short term effect on companies, Trump is a nationalist and his main goal is to help american companies grow.

@@android22arc No mostly because their data center revenue, although it experienced a large growth, still did not meet analyst expectations (by quite some way). This was supposedly so disappointing for analysts/investors that it outweighed all the good stuff from the earnings call, hence the selloff.

@ AMD is set to generate $7.1B in Q1 2025, up from $5.5B in Q1 2024-and keep in mind, DC was already up 80% from Q1 2022. Those figures are really good ?! Lisa doesn’t play the market like Elon or the others she could drop some tweets and have mystic meanings in the ER but it’s not like that. AMD is a huge supplier that gets played a lot. I agree with you it might even pass below $90! But it will be a good buy for 2025 with the MI400 on the way for 2026
