Hi, had the thrill of listen8ng to such fine Northern Singing and all the FIRRCE dancing at your Pow Wow Wacipi this weekend. I started out as a Fancy Dancer in 1972 and did a lot of dancing that next year so in 73 went to a big Pow Wow and out of 80 dancers made it to the final 3 dance off and got 2nd Place overall (1st in Dance & 3rd in Outfit the guy who 1st in Oitfit and 2nd dance was awarded 1st overall). Went on later into Traditional and Grass bit had to go away foe a few decades. Then one day I finally had git back and chance to dance again bit GrandFather God told me to make a new outfit that was Traditional yet not Traditional. Started with Aprons & Yoke or Cape and Cugfs then God said to make a small pair of arm bustles well now ot wasn't Traditional and went to dance as Fancy and discovered a Style unfamiliar to me the Chicken Dance which gave me the finishing pointers. Noticed that no Chicken Dancers at your Pow Wow did not wear arm bustles yet God told me to make a small pair before I knew it was Chicken Dance! Of course the proper way of entering the Circle under a new Style wad observed. Aaaaanyeay God said small arm bustles were a good way for Chivken Dance. LUV YOUR WAY OF POW WOW ♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️
