Yeah. Like?? Leave her the hell alone?? Who the hell do you think you are to barge in there and lecture her about how she should be dealing with this situation? Her wanting to donate her baby’s organs is not just a “convenient coping mechanism” It’s a logical and righteous thing to do since her baby is not going to survive, and there are many other babies that need organs to have their shot that her baby doesn’t. She’s not subverting the grieving process, she’s just making her grief and trauma SLIGHTLY more bearable by doing this. Fuck off Sheldon.

It’s a clip from when Amelia had a baby called Christopher in LA. When she was pregnant they discovered that Christopher didn’t have a brain and Amelia made the decision to go to term with Christopher so that she could spend time with him before he would pass and so that she could donate all of his organs so that he could save a lot of babies lives since she knew that she would lose her child and she didn’t want others to lose theirs
