Calling it "childlike wonder" really is a good way to describe it. Goomba has a very unique kind of character and it makes watching her so much fun. It's nice to know that she could rely on Ame in the beginning. She was often really nervous on stream. The absolutely insane level of attention she got must have been overwhelming in the beginning. Goomba can handle it so well these days.

I’m not surprised that the people that play these characters are allowed to step outside their own skin and be someone else for once and just be goofy and not act so serious. That I believe is what being a Vtuber allows. When you stream as yourself, it’s yourself you’re putting out there, but if you can step into a character, you can be somebody else like putting on a costume and nobody can recognize you except what you let them perceive. It lets them to secure their Private life but perform with a public persona.
