For me, I believe New Foreign investment can cause negative and positive effects on domestic companies, the negative effect is if foreign investors squeeze domestic producers from the market, and become monopolists. The damage may be made also to the payment balance of the host country due to the high outflow of investors' profits or because of large imports of inputs. Also the positive effect is FDI boosts the manufacturing and services sector which results in the creation of jobs and helps to reduce unemployment rates in the country. Increased employment translates to higher incomes and equips the population with more buying powers, boosting the overall economy of a country.

In my own perspective, it's better to be fair enough if our country will approve foreign investors then we people of our own country must do the same because in this world we know how we look better of a term "kalakalan" it's a simple term as give and take. The New Foreign Investment Acts are affected in two ways, in my opinion. a mix of the two. Let's instead focus on the positives. Yes, it would help our economy expand and give Filipinos jobs to work for, but there are always negative effects on our nation and, of course, Filipino residents. Why? If 100% of the investment is managed by foreign investors, how can we know or be certain that their minds are focused on helping the economy to grow? What about the businessmen in our nation? In my view, it would be extremely terrible if foreign investors managed here in the Philippines, particularly in the case of the public utilities, which are often owned by Filipino investors. Because we should be the ones who benefit as citizens. not the foreigners.
