As an American who just happened to stumble on this video, I should add that leaving home is becoming increasingly difficult for young adults in recent times. The cost of rent has always been high in the bigger cities, but even in the smaller communities it has really gone up. Coupled with the astronomical price of college tuition and the cost of living in general, many young adults have done a cost-benefit analysis and found that staying at home (at least for a little longer) is simply the logical choice.

50-60 years ago the said middle class or working class family could not afford higher education of their children in USA, in those days there were many labour movements also forced people ( young ) below 20 yrs of age to move out of their houses. The government also encouraged the teen agers to work in various places other than factories. That was a period when US Government used to offer free or reduced fees for education to children below 16 years of age but higher education was little costly. Young people above 18-24 were free to move anywhere in the country and Social Problems in the houses ( separations and divorces ) also forced them to move out of their parents' houses. This is my guess and part of my research work, may be some other effective reasons were also playing important role in these events !

After 18 age of son, father don't have any responsibility to feed or shelter their son. If father asked son(18+ yr.) to leave the house and find his own bread-butter and livelihood, then son would have no option except to do so, because even challenge it in court, it will of no use since law says after son attend 18yr. age, father has no responsibility.

There are major cultural differences between both the countries. 1. America has less people but more jobs because of industrialisation and even many part time jobs on the other hand india has very less jobs even people with degrees are sitting at home. 2. Quality of education is another major point to notice, most private colleges in India and also low level government colleges, schools are of no use. Private colleges are money eating machine and it gives you nothing in return. Their basic education is done so well that they choose right options in life On the other hand, in india most rural and small town people like me have a hard time deciding what to take after 12. Education level plays a major role guys just believe me. 3. Corrupt government and politicians. I agree that India's population is much more than America but they have great infrastructure, we have broken roads in 21st century even in the capital of India. 4. Literary rate. 5. Gender discrimination. We are so much behind in so many aspects. Hum Indians iss cheez se khush hote h ki hmare desh k bnde ceo hai American companies ke, arey bhai acchi baat hai, wo American gdp k liye kmaega, tumhe kya milra h? Wo wha ka ceo hai kyonki usko samjh aagya tha ki, india mey quality life nhi jee skte, yhi mehnat krni h aur india mey bhi krni hai, india mey success milne k chances bhut km hai kyonki population bhut jyada h competition bhut hai. Quality life abhi humne dekhi hi nhi hai bhaiyon. There are so many reasons to like india. But jo kamiyan h unhe bhi humein hi poora krna hai. Likhna toh bhut chahta hoon aur abhi bhi unorganised sa likha h Kisi ko bura lga ho toh maaf kr dena. JAI HIND
