I was aware (and something, too, of a fan) of Megan from her participation with The Novelists of a real nice cover of Comfortably Numb so I decided to listen to this, On hearing it I was quite surprised at how unlike Simon and Garfunkle's Megan's rendition is, and I thought t was quite wonderful, too, in its own soft way. Hi Megan: I follow a band out of Georgia (Foxes and Fossils) and they just released a cover of this same song (actually done in 2010). I absolutely love this song so I started watching other covers of it on YT and found your rendition. I just want to say you did a beautiful job on it! I play bass guitar (42 years now) and do play some guitar so I hoping to learn this song, sing it with my wife, and maybe put it on YT one day. Take care. Patrick

Hey Megan - been a while & before covid tripped everyone out but I caught you & Jeff doing that remarkable cover of LZ "Thank You" - I thought you complemented each others style well & he was a hoot - typical of the industry to divide & manipulate - he looked like he was going places but I think they messed up a good chemistry - I have had the same thing tear apart a great music chemistry & in the end we had to begin again - you still got it goin on - 'Keep on keepin on... great selection - I am combing through some of the best (to me) songs that move the soul & getting back out for another 'whack' at it... music is a different world from when I began kickin it around many years ago... So a few weeks this guy, Kevin Stuart, was the substitute in my band class, and he got really distracted when he was trying to conduct the band, going off on a tangent about how great your music was. He ended up playing Next to You for the whole class on his phone, but it wasn't loud enough and he didn't know how to plug it into the speaker system, so he ended up putting a megaphone in front of where the speaker was. Needless to say that didn't do it justice, so when I got home I decided to check out some of your stuff, and it actually was pretty amazing.

Super job!!! Love the vocals, guitar, and the video!! I think I need one of those pepper posters!! My weekly staple is frying up a mix of hot and sweet peppers, onions, garlic in extra virgin olive oil to use on sandwiches, pizza, macaroni etc.....must be nice having those nice long thin fingers and hands where supination comes naturally ......I think every guitar player with fat fingers stares longingly at hands made for guitar. Love the rendition!!! Never stop and NEVER use one of those stupid hand exerciser things with the buttons or you can cause permanent injury like I did 15 years ago. They should be outlawed from every music store in the country. They do NOTHING for guitar players except possible damage.....only exercise is playing because you are constantly at different angles. Only good they are is for people who had surgery to get some strength back by GENTLY pressing the buttons, NOT trying to get them all the way down. Sorry about that, but I always push this wherever I think guitar players might be so they don't make the same stupid mistake I did, thinking it would be nice to keep your hands strong and use that thing while walking, driving etc.....and again, Wonderful rendition of a GREAT soundtrack of my life song!!!
