Lots of people still slur the words "Matt Damon" every time he's in any video, especially when you're with a group of people. A couple of us were talking about Thor Ragnarok a few months ago and I slurred "Matt Damon". Everyone laughed and repeated it. Once you see that movie, you can never unhear his name.

No, they called Kanye a gay fish because he said he likes “fish dicks.” It’s a play on words. “Do you like fish dicks,” sounds like “do you like fish sticks?” Kanye kept saying yes, so they kept saying, “You’re a gay fish” because he kept falling for it. 😂

You should definitely watch the South Park movie: Bigger, Longer and Uncut... There isn't really anything referential about it other than the characters. Like as long as you know Kenny, Cartman, Stan and Kyle that's about it. The rest is a new story and some new characters. Plus the songs were Oscar-nominated.

When cinematographer and "South Park" fan Bill Pope (Best known for "The Matrix') heard that Mat and Trey were looking for an action movie cinematographer for "Team America," he offered to do it. When Matt and Trey found out who he was, they apologetically told him "You don't have to sully your career with out little film" but he said "No, I want to sully my career." He later commented on how astute Matt and Trey were at picking up on and mimicking the classic tropes of successful action movies.

You also need to see their movie "Baseketball." It's hillarious. They had to make "Baseketball" for the studio BEFORE they were able to get the green-light for this movie. The thing about South Park is they PURPOSELY keep the animation looking like it's construction paper animation, even though years ago they bought some top of the line, high quality animation equipment.

Back then , people used to joke and say fish d-s instead of fish sticks. So South Park used it in the episode with Ye just to make fun. The voice actor for him said he liked Fish sticks and they kept sayin fish d--s and that where gay fish came from. Ye actually got mad about it. In a song called Gorgeous , he says “ choke a South Park writer with a fish stick”

Some perspective. The creators of south park made the first few episodes as stop motion with construction paper, and ever since it took off they've kept that animation style, but moved it to digital obviously, but they make them the week of to stay current so the animation doesn't need to be good, the writing and the way they tackle society make it all worth while. It's one of the best things ever created.

The real Kim Jong Il loves movies so much that he tried directing a few himself, but even with everybody kissing up to him, he could tell they weren't any good, so he kidnapped South Korean director Shin Sang-ok and Shin's wife actress Choi Eun-hee and forced Shin to teach him how to make movies. That is comic book super villain crazy. Shin and Choi eventually manage to escape safely to South Korea.

The "Supermarionation" productions of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson; "Supercar", "Stingray", "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons", "Fireball XL5", and "Thunderbirds", in particular, from early sixties British TV, were the inspiration for "Team America". Stone and Parker dubbed their filming process "Supercrappymation" (or "Supercrappynation") as the wires were deliberately left visible. There are episodes and documentaries about their history on KZbin. The puppets are very unique characters, the vehicles bring out one's inner 7-year-old, and the music is ridiculously over-dramatic. (like a 7-year-old) Still fun, worth a look.
