I live on land that has been in my family since 1880. I live on 150 acres I have been to England, my mother went to find some family gynecology. She had family traced for where we live now all the way up the east coast. To family on my father's side to Boston when they came over and help build NYC, Baltimore, Rockingham into Alabama during the Civil War then to Arkansas in the 1880's. My Mother's side from Boston, to Pennsylvania and the signing of the Declaration of Independence, to family members working for George Washington. Now, back to England my mom has traced our family back to the Watsons, still living in Rockingham Castle in England, gifted to my family by King Henry, the 8th, and also family. But people I talk to from England are shocked I live on so much land. And just grow pine trees for wood pulp. I got some money when my dad past away, the next time the trees will be cut, I'd be 67. 10 more years, then my children will profit from it. 2:49 - What Tim is getting at here is important. Mexico also has the right to bear arms enshrined in it's constitution. But over time the culture changed and that allowed politicians to push forth laws that rationalized and diminished the right to bear arms promised in their constitution so now it is almost impossible for a lawful citizen to own a gun in Mexico, and carrying it for self defense is right out, and now Mexico is ruled by Cartels and their last election had 47 candidates assassinated. Just codifying it in the constitution is not enough to ensure the rights aren't lost. They have to also be taught and reinforced so that they become important values.
