I know that feeling vey well. There's actually a new word for that; "Anemoia" = feeling nostalgia for a time you never experienced. Taken from "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows by John Koenig

It was a time when my grandparents were young. And I have fond memories of them so it is good to imagine what it was like for them in their youth.

Wow, amazing how each photo comes to life 😮 I had a random conversation with a stranger some years ago, who had lived during many decades. He said the 1920s was the best, as electricity had come in, there were less cars and people were friendly.

Fascinating as always. The "Syndicate members, 1926, Chicago" (~3:40) look like actors I've seen in a film. It's uncanny. How sure are you on the provenance of this image?

to me, the shot of the 1920 bus taken in New York is powered by free energy, that is, without the need for fuel.

Interesting video. But your AI has a long way to go with its head movements, etc. Also, several of the photos were from the 30s or other decades, judging by hat and dress styles.

"The real-life sage of prostitutes whose testimony put Lucky Lucianao behind bars" looks like Bette Davis is one of the ladies sitting in the middle of the front row. Is this from a 1930s film?
