There is a reason they call it "The Greatest Generation." He is the same age that my Dad would have been, but my Dad passed in 2012. My Dad was a radio operator/gunner in B-17s flown from Chevelston England. So sad that out of the 16 million who served in WWII, only a little over 300,000 are left, and we lose about 250 a day. Such a sad thought for me. God bless Mr. Wills. I shudder to think what our country would be like (or if it would exist at all) if it weren't for heroes like Mr. Wills.

Im sure you made his entire week. It makes me sad that our elderly are passing and with them they are taking so much culture and knowledge this generation will NEVER know or understand. Its crazy how different life was 100 years ago, and they saw things we never will

We had the opportunity to talk to others who have known him for 45 years and the wonderful things they would say about him would make any family proud.

What an interesting story! The convertible sedan was probably the most expensive of the Fords in the 1930s. Lots of intricate hardware involving in the coach work. Again, congratulations, James!

It was great getting to know the owner and caretaker of 53 years to this fine automobile.

Mr. Wills is a responsible caretaker of history. A veteran, an American hero. He deserves the thanks of all Americans.

slick idea 'hiding' the signal lights in the horns!

We still are getting use to the idea of remembering to cancel the signals after we turn. I think we have been spoiled. Overall, we find driving this Ford to be very modern like in most every way. It seems to us that this must be the sweet spot for old vintage cars when why start feeling a great deal like their modern day counterparts.
