Me and the wife stayed the night in the glamping tent in mid Jan, although it was a little chilly it was fantastic! Wish we could have stayed a few more days. Wish we were on the bike. The areas around the camp looked great for rides.

Okay, I can add my vote to many others that have visited the KRiver campground. Just finished up a week-long ride and spent two nights there. I loved every minute. The staff was incredible especially Ms. Cheryl! Lovely lady and a pleasure to talk with. I'll be recommending KRiver to any and everyone I talk with in the coming days.

Here's you an idea. Is there a Veterans Administration near you? Try to find you a riding companion there. Is there a local Combat Veterans Association close by you. I'm pretty sure one of those guys will ride with you. If not somebody at one of them help you can someone to ride with you. Good luck on your adventure and ride. Be good and be safe!!

@@stevenking2469 Id like to find someone my age. Im 27. Not that I dont like riding with oldheads but I can ride with my dad and his friends any day of the week. Lol. None of my friends have a bike. So idk if VFWs have younger dudes or if Vet Administrations would either.. But I would bank on a no. Maybe tho. I'll check it out

Not all vets are old. The old ones have sons and daughters maybe your age. When it warms up check out some bike nights. Go talk to some people at your local motorcycle dealers and repair shops. Maybe there is a local facebook page for riders your age. Go on some bike runs in your area. Just trying to help you figure it out. It's always safer to travel with someone but have done some solo trips also. I think you'll figure it out. Good luck bro. Be good and be safe!!
