Roy is awesome, I wish he'd commit to KZbin more because I find a lot of motivation in his work ethic. Specifically the video where he wakes up, practices basketball, does cs work, plays against bronny, interacts with fans, gets dinner with friends, and then studies til 3am blows my mind. Anytime I'm being lazy I just think about that video and I'll get up and do something. I understand it's just a side hobby for him though, but Roy, if you're seeing this, you're truly a special dude.

I assume you mean in terms of Major Programs. You need to be accepted for the University/Program which they always stress players to have good GPA. OBVIOUSLY if you are Top Talent NBA potential then they automatically accept you. This is just an assumption but if you have bad grades. They probably encourage you to apply to a non-competitive program to get accepted to the University.
