My guess is that he already preselected 'cat' 'white' 'oscar' and took the second option for each judge from the crowd While people were probably figuring out that he was half ignoring the crowd, he probably addressed the blonde girl (a mark) to keep them from discussing how he's ignoring the crowd half of the time. Otherwise the fact that he called out the girl had no point to the magic trick. It also seems that he keeps his right hand closed the whole time. Every now and then he opens his left hand to make it seem like both hands are empty, but he also taps the judges hands with his right hand. My guess is he has like some sort of one way magnet (if that's even possible) so that only he can feel the pull to the coin.

Don't get me wrong, I think all of these performances were amazing in every aspect. The courage and talent that it takes to get up and onto that stage is astronomical. But... I was just wondering if the first man, # 10, could've just chosen the color, animal, and name by himself since everyone was shouting different things. If anyone could explain that in the replies, that would be great, thank you :)

Well, it definitely was a force, obviously. That's why he made everyone in the audience shout and didn't pick someone from the crowd. Then he just finds the coins (maybe he has a helper in the crowd behind judge's seats, or uses some other way) and relates the answer he needs to the hand with the coin. It's quite easy as the magic tricks go. The secret is in good distraction, acting and audience control :)

the first act was easy! He already knew because of the body language in which hand the coin was and when he asked for a color he would say white no matter what and then another color he heard from the audience. Then he would name the hand that the coin was in white and the other one blue. Same goes for the other three and the trick is done.

I just figured out how Colin cloud/#10 did the cat thing. There was a white cat named Oscar the whole time. Howies coin did not matter. He determined where the coin was, then labeled it white. Same for cat and Oscar. How could he hear all of those over the loud crowd? He didn’t. He said what he heard the most, then the correct thing that makes it work.
