Have you seen her on Songland June 1 2020? It's Journey to the song "Miracle" with Bebe Rexha. Anna's song was named "Bones" and was combined with the song "Miracle" by Greg Scott. Her song should have been the only picked imo. It's a great video, don't miss it

I expect no one will see this. I fell in love with her performances on this show then discovered her originals. The talent was off the charts and I was prepared to have a seat as a fan for many years. Then they decided not to sign with anyone. Then moved to Nashville. Then seemed to lose her way on her lyrics. I still love her voice and I believe her to be one of the most talented people in the world. I do wish that the brash personality that wrote and performed songs like “That’s Who I Am” and “ so Complicated” would resurface. Her newer things are good, but the older things were great. I buy everything I can, but I listen to the same things over and over. Oh well. Maybe it’s me.

It's not just you. I've followed and supported her since day-1 and will continue to do so, but since her eponymous first album, I haven't heard anything quite as fresh and distinctive. Her current songs sound good individually, but nothing leaps out. I was hoping that Songland would open her up to experimenting with new ways of doing things, like promotion, and collaborating with lyricists and producers to add some punch into her arrangements. She's done some of that on her latest release, so we'll see what happens.
