The best card trick I ever played was when I placed the ace of spades in a girl's pocketbook during a party, when everyone arrived, and no one realized. When the party was in full swing, I played my card trick. I simply asked, "And where is the ace of spades?". Everyone searched the deck. It wasn't there. I went over to the girl's pocketbook, and lo and behold, there it was. It was a miracle. No one believed it could have possibly been there beforehand.

@shavedparmesanprosciuttoan4317 Жыл бұрын
The trick with the gumballs was also a little sloppy with the damn etch a sketch that you can clearly see him writing on while nick was taking the sticker off the envelope. You can even see him put the stylus back in his pocket when he turns to hand nick the envelope. The video he posted didn’t say Mel B’s number, just that she was 2 off so whatever number she picked he made up a number that was 2 off from hers. That’s also why we made Howard change his number because it would have ruined the trick and the big reveal with the video since it only mentions Mel B. HOWEVER! The thing with the receipt in the jar was absolutely nuts. The one where he had Howard and Heidi on stage drinking the drinks was also likely an assistant buzzing him with some sort of vibrator in his pocket. 1-5 pulses to indicate which cup they were drinking from. Even the trick with the notebook where the judges pick a celebrity, the notebooks were primed so that they had to open to a certain page. That’s why he had them throw the notebooks so they couldn’t examine them further. He definitely did not cut a snowflake picture of Oprah that’s just slight of hand with the cutout he already had in his pocket. He knew Howie would guess Tom Cruise because he knew what page he would flip to. He really showed his talent when he guessed Top Gun. The cameras show he definitely wrote it before Howie said it, and that was true mentalism. He primed Howie by saying to picture a movie the actor was in on a huge screen, so he primed him to think of a big blockbuster film of Tom Cruise. Then he asked him how many movies he could think of with this actor and Howie said 5. Tom Cruise has been in a TON of movies, but if Howie only knows 5 of them, it’s gotta be a really famous one, and if he’s thinking of a blockbuster, it has to be Top Gun. Really impressive work. I do like this guy a lot, he was booked to perform at my office Christmas party and he performed some truly stunning tricks. I just like to try to figure out how these guys do what they do!

You know, a lot of this was tricks and sleight of hand, but there were a few times he did some true mentalism. When he had them flip through the notebooks to choose a celebrity, he knew what page it would land on, they were set up to where they’d open to a certain page. That’s why he had them open it a certain way with their thumbs and then toss them after so they couldn’t examine them further. So he knew Howie would select Tom Cruise because he knew what page he would flip to. But he really showed his talent when he guessed Top Gun. The cameras show that he definitely wrote it down before Howie said it, and that was true mentalism. He primed Howie by saying to picture a movie the actor was in on a huge screen, priming him to think of a big blockbuster film in a movie theater. Then he asked him how many movies he could think of with this actor and Howie said 5. Now Tom Cruise has been in a TON of movies, but if Howie only knows 5 of them, it’s gotta be a really famous one, and if he’s thinking of a blockbuster, it has to be Top Gun. Really impressive work! Also the thing with receipt in the gum-balls. I’m confident that I’ve got the rest of that trick figured out, but the receipt in the gum-balls with all their numbers was top notch. Maybe he had a printer under the jar with an assistant typing remotely and printing it out and up into the jar, which is why Nick had to dig so hard to find it? Idk but it was really cool.

That only works if someoe doesn't flip through all the way. You can see both side of each page when you flip through it, and only one side had names. Howie opened it up to a place near the bottom, so if it were flipped over, the others would have seen Tom Cruise written on the back wach page for sure.
