She is gifted and caught the spirit of the era, I was in my teens when this came out. She took me back there. I would love to hand her my steel stringed Ovation and then switch them out for some DR skin, coated acoustic strings. Wonderful and gifted playing. I am grateful I caught it. TY

This is the song that both heralds and mourns the death of the American dream. It sum's up the story in just a few words. See how strikingly in contrast, the beginning and the ending are. The song starts off with ,"Let us be lovers we'll marry our fortunes together", and ends with, "I'm empty and aching and I don't know why". If you choose monetary prosperity, the price is always, moral bankruptcy. Do not put your confidence and your faith and your trust, in money. Do not desire or learn to value and to treasure silver and gold, more than freedom.
