America Sings attraction at Disneyland, recorded circa 1987, shortly before the ride was permanently closed and dismantled in 1988. This was edited from the America Sings Extinct Rides video, which was taken from the Extinct Rides DVD. Many of the elaborate animatronic characters from this ride were moved to Splash Mountain when America Sings was closed down, and one of the geese was even used as a slightly modified talking robot that you see when you're waiting in line at Star Tours. It's a shame they closed this attraction, it was enjoyable for all ages and a great way to take a break for 20 or 30 minutes to rest your feet.
* Unfortunately, after allowing comments for the first 3 or 4 years, I decided to turn them off since 95% of them are from idiots who believe someone died IN THIS VIDEO, because they watched another version of it where someone ADDED a scream and the person uses that video as clickbait to make money. Are you guys really that stupid? Apparently you are, because I've literally deleted hundreds and hundreds of comments from people who came here from THAT video, didn't even bother to watch THIS video, but commented about the scream in THIS video (which of course doesn't exist). Yes, an employee did lose their life on this attraction right after it opened in 1974 when she wasn't in her designated position as the theater was rotating. THIS video was recorded 13 years later in --1987--, and it finally closed in 1988 due to diminished interest. IT DID NOT CLOSE BECAUSE SOMEONE DIED ON THIS ATTRACTION 14 YEARS EARLIER. News flash!!! Someone has died on almost every long-time attraction at Disneyland, and in almost every instance they were doing something stupid that they weren't supposed to do.*
For those of you who wanted to leave a meaningful comment or question about this attraction, I apologize, but endless hordes of know-it-all idiots who could care less about the actual attraction ruined it for everyone.
