The Italian missionary Mateo Ricci did a great job bridging the East and West in China. It is miraculous how resilient Catholicism is. My forbears in Ireland practised their religion in secret for 300 years until Catholic emancipation occurred through the work of Daniel O'Connell who worked in the English Parliament to finally bring about freedoms for the Catholics.

I can see the holiness of those young priests.. When I was a kid, a young man touched my head and told me that the mass is going to start. I was an elementary student in a Notre Dame school. When he touched my head, I felt a warm aura which I could not understand. And I heard a sweet woman voice, she said: "These men are priests". It was spoken in my native language which is Filipino. I was really surprised because there was no woman there.. Before the mass ended, the priest who presided the mass announced that we have two guests who are going to be ordained as priests, then the two guys who I met stood up.. I was really shocked and I told my classmates that someone told me that they are priests.. My clasamates ignored me as they were just kids like me.. I told my mom about it and she said that it could possibly be my guardian angel who told me that.. I am now 31 years old but I still could not forget such experience. I truly believe that priests are special and holy. Maybe not all of them but indeed there are holy priests like in this video and those priests in my childhood experience.. Just sharing.
