11:36 From what I would guess, (and I have no experience with this) the airbags look like they could be used to keep someone from flying forward into the bulkhead because they can’t form the proper brace position because of the distance/ shape of the bulkhead.

In Calgary you are at altitude (anything over 3,000 feet) which is why there was a long take off

Great video like always. I agree that airplane automated announcements are so annoying, and they have them for practically everything, where you hardly hear FA talk anymore. Now I need to visit baniff national park, looks so cool.

Great trip report! New to your site from YYC. AA has always struggled in yyc to ord other than even now maybe DFW. UA and AC own these routes especially IAH and SFO and ORD. AA is sort of a forgotten fixture here although they did very well in the 90's. Just a forgotten old soul.

Its sad I live in Fort Worth and this is usually the best airline choice for me. AA was great back in the 2000s with their "more legroom" md-80s. Their interior concept is now the polar opposite. It's also funny that "American" is virtually all Airbus domestically now.

Hopefully you get a chance to fly on one of United's MAXes or even one of their NEXT Airbuses

A very confusing trip report and was also filmed on my birthday. The A319s and A321s are better.

I’ll be honest, I feel like American is trying to compete with Spirit & Frontier. They’ve been trying so hard to become a horrible airline. Every-time I fly American, I’m always delayed.
